London African Film Festival

Should i decide to focus on one of the films that were screened at the Nov/Dec 08 London African Film Festival , then i have been offered the chance to meet with and get in contact with some of the directors from the films. This would add a lot to my study, and primary research.

I think the film Jereuselama would be useful in this sense, and from the synopsis seems to deal with the issues i would like to focus my study on.

Academics on African Cinema

Received a reply from Royal Africa Society.

I have been put in touch with Lindiwe Dovey, who teaches film at SOAS.

The theme is "the story of Jesus reclaimed as an African fable: a simple concept becomes a remarkable cinematic experience in Son of Man."
